| Recorded at Worldvenue & Springstone, Carmarthenshire, Wales. Mixed & produced at Worldvenue. Many thanks to Paul Lampitt for the generous use of the Otari MX, and to Robbie + Annie at Springstone for the extensive use of thier studio and home. This is the first album featuring Lyndon on Bass + Kev on Vocals/Keyboards, even though they'd been with the band for over 18 months prior to recording this album. Dave's Drums, Paul + John's Percussion and Lyndons Bass were all recorded live at Springstone to retain that essential 'band groove'. Next Kev + Chris laid down most of thier keyboard parts followed by most of David's Guitar and Guitar Synth tracks. Simon couldn't make the sessions in Wales and so his violin parts were recorded remotely on DAT and pasted in. As this worked so well John did the same for all his decks and scratching tracks. Lastly, Kev + Paul bravely did thier vocal parts in a freezing chapel (January, no heating!) then all parts were done. The next three months saw many remixes & edits before everyone was happy with this excellent offering. | |||
